Project of recultivation of the former dolomite mine's terrain, where dinosaur fossils were found consisted in the idea of creating three artirficial lakes around the park with educational and re-creation facilities plus the Paleonthological Centre.
The area around lakes is shaped with intentional preservation of the terrain's postindustrial character (sharp outline of the slopes, geometry of ramps). The building meant for venue of the Scientific facility and the museum is partly immersed in that landscape - its roof are simultaneously ramps of the terrain, and provide convenient sightseing terraces with the overview of the excavation works below.
